The Jewish Future is at Stake by Rabbi Yonatan Sadoff:
As seen in the 4 August 2022 issue of the Australian Jewish News (AJN) please read "The Jewish Future is at Stake " by Kehilat Nitzan's own, Rabbi Yonatan Sadoff discussing the Senseless hatred was seen again recently at the Kotel in Jerusalem just a few short weeks ago when a group of zealous ultra-Orthodox boys invaded the egalitarian prayer space of the Masorti (Conservative) movement by Robinson’s Arch during a Bat Mitzvah. Kesher/Bnei Mitzvah Korner Ellen Frajman visited from Mazon Australia and the students learned about why giving food to those in need is a Jewish act. We packed a LOT of bags with ingredients for soup which will be distributed this week. We learned part of Birkat MaMAZON - the blessing after eating. The kids wrote individual messages to recipients offering kindness, support and inspiration. Thanks to Amanda and Kerryn for assisting and to Ellen for coming to teach and lead us.

"Red Notice" by Bill Browder.
A true story of high finance, murder and one man's fight for justice.
A real life thriller about an American born financier in the wild east of Russia, the murder of his principled young attorney (Sergei Magnitsky) and the dangerous mission to expose the Kremlin officials who were responsible.
Random acts of kindness
At this week’s food van, a workman approached and gave us $300. We told him we were a synagogue… he didn’t want any food… he just wanted to help. We feel so moved by the tow truck driver’s generosity.
"Every night we walk away from the food van feeling buoyed after seeing the goodness in people" says Debra Korman.
Every week, we feed 30 – 50 people at Alma Park. Our wonderful volunteers cook up roast chicken, meat, pasta, salads, ratatouille, biscuits, muffins and sandwiches in decorated bags. We hand out toiletries, fruit and Kogo knitted scarves, blankets and beanies – all organised by our incredible team of shoppers, servers and coordinators.
Continental and Solomons butchers provide the chickens and frankfurts and our new donor, Woodfrog, gives us their yummy bread which they save specially for us.
To all who donated $50 Coles Vouchers – THANK YOU. This This random person’s generosity will allow us to provide even more personal care items.
