Message from Rabbi Yonatan: אם אשכחך ירושלים. If I forget you Jerusalem Psalm 137
Jerusalem is at the heart of Jewish consciousness as expressed by the Psalmist. Click here to hear Rabbi Yonatan's response to the recent Australian government's decision. Shabbat Shalom!
Message from our President It was wonderful to be together for all the Holy Days. Thank you all for making these so special! Most recently, led by Rabbi Yonatan, we shared the joy of Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah. Singing and dancing, as we celebrated in the Synagogue. There were wonderful kiddushim and all had a great time revelling in our history and our Jewish soul. I found it moving to think that as we ended and began reading the Torah, we were sharing what generations of Jewish people have done for thousands of years - the same time, the same text.
Mazel Tov to Mark and Odile Ellison, our Chatan and Kallah Torah.
The Board and I hope look forward to seeing at our AGM this Sunday 23rd October at 7.30 pm.
Kol Tov,
Sue Zyngier
