There has been a huge upsurge of antisemitism in Melbourne and around the world. There are distressing, hateful messages on social media, in person, on campuses, and in classrooms. It is a challenging and confusing time. We can support ourselves and our children in these challenging times through a new program at KN called “How Ya Jewin’?" (i.e.: how are you doing as a Jew?). How Ya Jewin’? will be a safe and supportive group meeting where we will be able to: express our concerns; share our experiences; discuss ways we cope; share the joy of our Jewish lives; ask questions; and simply be there for each other.
