Services

Our services are traditional egalitarian, with both women and men participating equally. We use the Conservative movement's Siddur Sim Shalom prayerbook.

Erev Shabbat (Friday evening) services are musical and spiritual, with lots of singing. The service starts at 5:30pm and lasts about an hour.  via Zoom - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87477618620

Shabbat morning services start at 9:30am. Note that Kehilat Nitzan follows a triennial cycle for Torah reading. Live streaming on  "Kehilat Nitzan Bimah" on YouTube.                                                                                   Or use this link https://www.youtube.com/c/KehilatNitzan/live

Weekday Morning Minyan Services via Zoom Monday to Friday 8:00am https://zoom.us/j/70254641 and Sunday morning 9:00am https://zoom.us/j/306800789

Kosher Live Stream Services!

While watching or using your computer or SmartTV is not normally in the spirit or sanctity of Shabbat or Yom Tov.  If you set up your equipment before the Festival/Shabbat it is not technically forbidden to view content on the Festival/Shabbat! This loophole coupled with the concept of shaat Hadechak (a time of great urgency) allows us to livestream religious services beginning this Shavuot.

What to do for your kosher participation in our KN live stream services from your home:

1) In order to avoid interacting with the technology on the Festival/Shabbat, please try to link in to our Live Stream Services before candle lighting on Friday  and leave the TV/Computer/device on and untouched for the duration of the two days.

2) You can find the link on YouTube by searching ‘kehilat Nitzan Bimah’.

3) Using a SmartTV rather than computer or other device is the best for keeping the rules of Shabbat/Festival but if you use your computer or other device, remember to turn off the screen saver  beforehand in order to avoid interacting with the equipment on the Yom Tov/Shabbat.
